Tallur Shivaprasad Shetty.

is a hospitality entrepreneur with decades of experience in the restaurant industry. A graduate of PPC College, Udupi, and an MBA graduate from Manipal, he is part of the Tallur Group of Hotels, a family driven hospitality group that has built and operated several successful restaurants across the region, including the well known Hotel Thaamboolam. For Shivaprasad, hospitality has always been more than a business, it is a passion built on creating memorable experiences for people. Over the years, he has navigated the industry through some of its toughest challenges, from demonetization to the COVID-19 pandemic, while continuing to grow and evolve alongside changing customer expectations. Among his proudest achievements is the opportunity to create employment for hundreds of people and contribute to the local economy in and around Udupi. He believes that learning never stops, and that every day in hospitality brings new lessons, new experiences, and new opportunities to improve. What continues to motivate him most is people. Meeting guests from different walks of life, learning from their stories, and building meaningful connections remains at the heart of everything he does. That passion for bringing people together is reflected in Hakuna Matata — a place designed to make every guest feel welcome, comfortable, and eager to return.
